Talpa de Allende: 

Talpa de Allende (La Perla Escondida) es un municipio y población del estado de Jalisco, México. Se localiza en el oeste del estado, en la Región Sierra Occidental; a 190 kilómetros al oeste de Guadalajara. Su nombre significa "Sobre la Tierra". El municipio alberga a la imagen de Nuestra Señora del Rosario de Talpa, la cual es una de las más visitadas del país.

Su vegetación se compone básicamente de pino, oyamel, roble, fresno y nogal; en las partes bajas semitropicales hay havillo, capomo, parota, primavera, rosa morada y cedro. En el municipio se localiza un bosque mesófilo con arce (Acer saccharum subsp. skutchii). Se propone la creación de una área protegida, con la categoría de Reserva de la Biosfera, para la conservación de este ecosistema.

El venado, el puma, la ardilla, la peluda, el conejo, y aves de diferentes tipos pueblan esta región.

San Sebastián del Oeste:

Hay pueblos, como gente, que tienen suerte: San Sebastián -del Oeste por su ubicación al oeste del Estado de Jalisco- se durmió al principio del siglo XX cuando la última mina en actividad cerró, para despertarse en el siglo XXI, con su trazado original y sus casonas señoriales casi intactos, y presentar su solicitud de inscripción en la lista del patrimonio mundial de la UNESCO. La solicitud que remonta al 2005 no tuvo hasta ahora respuesta de parte de este organismo, pero es muy probable que la tenga en el futuro, ya que San Sebastián del Oeste es un pueblo hermoso, preservado y representativo de la historia de la minería en México.

San Sebastián está construido en la pendiente de un cerro y su trazo irregular sigue la accidentada topografía del lugar. De su época de esplendor, el pueblo ha conservado sus casonas, con unos inmensos techos de tejas que cubren los corredores exteriores e interiores, alrededor de la gran plaza con su kiosco porfiriano.

La gente del lugar parece vivir en otro tiempo, las mujeres interpelándose de casa a casa, los ancianos tomando el sol en los portales, niños jugando y gritando. Los únicos seres vivientes que parecen estresados son las gallinas quienes cruzan apresuradamente las calles, evitando carros invisibles o anticipando el futuro tráfico que la carretera en construcción traerá inevitablemente.

A unos kilómetros del Real Alto, el mirador de la Bufa ofrece una impresionante vista sobre la Sierra Madre del Sur, hasta el Pacífico. Otro recorrido lleva a Los Reyes, pequeño, bonito y olvidado pueblo, muy parecido a lo que fue San Sebastián hace no mucho tiempo.

Cómo llegar a San Sebastián y Mascota desde Puerto Vallarta:

-En carro particular: Por la nueva carretera 70 Puerto Vallarta - Guadalajara. San Sebastián se encuentra a 60 Km de Puerto Vallarta y Mascota a 98 Km.

-En transporte público: Detrás del hyper Mega, salen camiones para Mascota 3 veces al día. No hay transporte público para San Sebastián, el camión de Mascota deja al viajero en La Estancia; desde allí, tiene que pedir un aventón hasta San Sebastián o caminar 10 Km. Entre Mascota y San Sebastián, el señor Chano hace transporte de carga todos los días y acepta unos pasajeros.

Hay muchos restaurantes en los dos pueblos, donde se come muy bien platillos elaborados a base de productos naturales de la región. En San Sebastián, el comedor tradicional La Lupita -a la entrada del pueblo- es una buena opción.

 

 

Tehua o Tehuamixtle:

La Bahía Tehuamixtle, o “Tehua” , como le llaman los locales, es famosa por sus aguas claras y sus ostiones.

Existen tres restaurantes donde los turistas, principalmente de Vallarta asisten a disfrutar de los famosos ostiones de piedra y pescado fresco.

También hay un hotelito de 6 cuartos, y se puede acampar en alguna enramada frente a la mar y hacer fogatas a la luz de la luna con el arrullo de las olas.

Navegando hacia el Norte, o sea hacia Vallarta, a una media hora se encuentran los “Morros”, son unas formaciones rocosas muy productivas para la pesca.

También en sus cristalinas aguas se puede esnorquelear alrededor de las rocas o investigar el barco hundido a media bahía.

Tehuamixtle se localiza a 26 km de Cabo Corrientes y a 75 km de Boca de Tomatlán.

Como Llegar:

 

Por tierra:

Para llegar a Tehua desde Guadalajara, hay que pasar por Puerto Vallarta, y después tomar la carretera costera hacia Manzanillo, a la mitad del camino, entre Vallarta y Manzanillo, a 1.5 horas de Vallarta, se encuentra el poblado de El Tuito. En lugar de dar vuelta hacia la presa de Cajón de Peñas , se dá vuelta por la entrada principal de el Tuito hacia el océano, son 44 Km. de brecha pasando por el poblado de Llano Grande y por Ipala .

Por aire:

La manera más fácil de llegar a Tomatlan es por vía aérea llegar al aeropuerto internacional de Puerto Vallarta y continuando por la carretera federal 200, al sur.

El moderno Aeropuerto Internacional Gustavo Días Ordaz, a 6 kilómetro al norte de Puerto Vallarta, es la principal vía de acceso. En las temporadas altas el tráfico semanal es de 450 vuelos, entre nacionales y extranjeros, especialmente de ciudades de los Estados Unidos como Los Ángeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Fort Worth y Denver.

El transporte desde el aeropuerto hasta el centro de la ciudad presenta tarifas razonables. El pasajero deberá pagar el importe por el servicio en la caseta de taxi del terminal aéreo, donde le asignarán una unidad tipo van que lo trasladará a su destino.

Por mar:

Por mar, durante gran parte del año lujosos cruceros procedentes de diversas partes del mundo y embarcaciones privadas, llegan a las costas de Vallarta. La ciudad ofrece todas las facilidades a las naves y a los turistas que atracan en su marina, con capacidad para 400 embarcaciones.

 

 

Sayulita:

En las costas del estado de Nayarit, se encuentra Sayulita, paradisiaca playa que no puedes dejar de visitar.

Al sur de la costa de Nayarit, en la región de Bahía de Banderas se encuentra Sayulita, pequeño paraíso adornado por la hermosura del mar, la reciedumbre de los acantilados, los ríos, las lagunas y los esteros plenos de vida marítima, las playas plácidas de arena blanca y una exuberante fauna.

La pequeña comunidad de Sayulita se yergue armoniosa entre la exuberante vegetación que predomina desde los valles hasta la costa. Sus callejuelas empedradas, viviendas modestas pero cuidadas y arregladas, pequeño kiosco, templo a un lado de la plaza, ramadas en la playa, etcétera, hacen de este apacible lugar un excelente sitio para el descanso y la reflexión.

Desde las colinas aledañas se tiene una magnífica vista del pueblo y sus alrededores: el prodigio de sus playas blancas, los atardeceres cálidos, los sonidos que emanan de las entrañas selváticas y que se atenúan poco a poco con los últimos rayos del sol, los hombres que regresan de sus parcelas con el rostro satisfecho por la jornada cumplida.

En la localidad existen ya algunos hoteles de excelente calidad y magníficos restaurantes de mariscos, y aún es posible acampar en la playa sin correr riesgos. Además, es considerado un destino ideal para los viajes en familia y por si esto fuera poco, es un punto estratégico para el avistamiento de ballenas durante el invierno, debido a que este es el lugar en el que muchos de estos enormes cetáceos paran en su gran migración desde las heladas aguas del norte.

 

CÓMO LLEGAR

Toma la carretera costera número 200 que va de Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, a Tepic, Nayarit, y aproximadamente a 80 km está la desviación que te llevará a Sayulita por una carretera pavimentada de más o menos 6 kilómetros.

Talpa de Allende:

Talpa de Allende (La Perla Escondida) Located in the western state in the Western Mountain Region, 190 kilometers west of Guadalajara. Its name means "On Earth". The municipality is home to the statue of Our Lady of the Rosary of Talpa, which is one of the most visited countries.
The vegetation consists mainly of pine, fir, oak, ash and walnut, in the lower semi havillo there are, capomo, parota, spring purple rose and cedar. The municipality is located a cloud forest with maple (Acer saccharum subsp.Skutchii). It proposes the creation of a protected area, with the rank of a Biosphere Reserve for the conservation of this ecosystem.
The deer, cougar, squirrels, furry rabbits, and birds of different kinds inhabit this region.

 

San Sebastian del Oeste:

There are villages like there are people with luck. Called San Sebastian from the West because of its location west of the State of Jalisco, fell asleep at the beginning of the twentieth century when the last mine closed active, waking up in the XXI century, with its layout Original and mansions almost intact, and their request for inclusion on the World Heritage List of UNESCO. The request goes back to 2005 so far had no response from the agency, but it is very likely to have in the future. A few kilometers from the Real Alto, the viewpoint of the Bufa offers a breathtaking view of the Sierra Madre del Sur to the Pacific. Another path leads to the Kings, small, beautiful and forgotten people, much like San Sebastian which was not long ago.

Getting to San Sebastian del Oeste and Mascota from Puerto Vallarta:
-In a private car: For the new Highway 70 Puerto Vallarta - Guadalajara. San Sebastian is located 60 miles from Puerto Vallarta and 98 kms Pet

-Public Transport: Buses that leave to Mascota 3 times a day. No public transportation to San Sebastian, Mascota buses leave the traveler in La Estancia, from there, you must request a ride or walk to San Sebastian 10 Km Between Mascota and San Sebastian, Mr. Chano transports things every day and accepts a passengers.

There are many restaurants in the two villages, where you can eat well done dishes, prepared from natural products of the region. In San Sebastian, the traditional dining- La Lupita to the edge of town, is a good choice

 

Tehua or Tehuamixtle:

Tehuamixtle Bay, or "Tehua," as locals call it, is famous for its clear waters and oysters.
There are three restaurants where tourists, mainly attending from Vallarta go to enjoy the famous rock oysters and fresh fish.
There is also a small hotel of 6 rooms, and you can camp in a grove facing the sea and making fires in the light of the moon with the sound of the waves.
Sailing north, or towards Vallarta, about a half hour are the "Morros" rock formations, they are very productive for fishing.
Also in its waters you can snorkel around the rocks or investigate the wreck in the middle bay.
Tehuamixtle is located 26 km from Cabo Corrientes and 75 km from Boca de Tomatlan.

 

Driving Directions:

By land:
To reach Tehua from Guadalajara, pass by Puerto Vallarta, and then take the coastal road to Manzanillo, halfway between Vallarta and Manzanillo, 1.5 hours from Vallarta, lies the village of El Tuito. Instead of turning to the Cajon de Peña dam, give back to the main entrance of the Tuito into the ocean, are 44 km gap through the village of Llano Grande and Ipala.

By air:
The easiest way to reach Tomatlan is by air, to reach the international airport of Puerto Vallarta and continuing on Highway 200, south.
The modern day Gustavo Ordaz International Airport, 6 km north of Puerto Vallarta, is the main path. At peak traffic of 450 weekly flights between domestic and foreign, especially U.S. cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Fort Worth and Denver.
Transport from the airport to the city center has reasonable rates. The passenger must pay the amount for the service in the cabin air taxi terminal where you are assigned a unit type that will take you to your destination.

By sea:
By sea, during much of the year from luxury cruises around the world and private vessels, reach the shores of Puerto Vallarta. The city offers all the facilities to ships and tourists docking at its marina with capacity for 400 boats.

 

Sayulita:

In the coastal state of Nayarit, Sayulita is, paradise beach you can not miss.
South of the coast of Nayarit, in the Bahia de Banderas is Sayulita, a small paradise adorned by the beauty of the sea, the vigor of the cliffs, rivers, lagoons and marshes full of marine life, beaches placid white sand and lush fauna.
The small community of Sayulita is located between the lush harmony that prevails from the valleys to the coast. Its cobblestone streets, modest homes are well kept and arranged, small kiosko (plaza) next to Temple Square, etc., make this an excellent place. Peaceful for rest and reflection.
From the surrounding hills have a magnificent view of the town and its surroundings: the miracle of its white beaches, warm sunsets, the sounds emanating from the bowels jungle and gradually fade with the last rays of sun, men returning from their plots with happy faces for their accomplished day.
In the resort there are already some excellent hotels and fine seafood restaurants, and you can still camp on the beach safely. It is also considered an ideal destination for family trips and if this were not enough, a strategic point for whale watching during the winter, because this is the place where many of these huge whales stop in great migration from the frozen northern waters.

HOW TO GET:

Take the coastal road number 200 that goes from Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Tepic, Nayarit, and about 80 km to the deviation will take you to Sayulita by a paved road about 6 miles.
